  Very expensive for what is offered. Mussels were ok but really need some kind of base sauce or broth. Salmon was dried out and had too​ many capers that overpowered the fish. Cod pieces also dried out and inedible. Roast beef was cooked properly, nice and rare, but clearly not top grade beef.
  
  Good service but poor food; highly unlikely we'd return here. Not recommended.

  If giving 0 star rating was possible that's what would receive from us. The clams were full of sand. None of the food was anything special. Selection of food was poor. Nothing here was worth $36 per person. Will never ever come back.

  The crab dip tasted sour, like what ever dairy that was in it was bad. The dill salmon was hard and dry. The prime rib was low quality & for $35.99 per person, something besides the mac and cheese should have been edible. We had been here years ago & the food was fine. When we were leaving we heard the waitress tell another table that it was Ember's last day before closing until February, so maybe that's why it was bad. All I can say is that $94 later (for two adults and one child). We felt cheated.

  The best buffet experience I have ever had. Even if you aren't typically a fan of buffet-style dining, I would suggest giving Embers a try. This large restaurant is conveniently located on coastal highway. They have all you can eat crab legs, many seafood options including mussels, traditional pastas, american entrees and an amazing dessert selection. The price is reasonable but definitely not cheap. They constantly refresh the food items and the buffet area is kept very clean. The quality of food items is what separates this restaurant from other buffets. We love Embers!
